Gazivode

Gazivode lake is an artificial lake created in 1977 by damming the river Ibar in it's upstream. It is located in the Tutin municipality, in southwest Serbia and Zubin Potok, and in northern Kosovo i Metohija. Above the lake is mountain Mokra Gora where are famous monasteries Crna Reka and Rogozna. The lake is 24 kilometers in length, the height of the dam is 107 meters, 460 meters wide and 480 meters long.

The main purpose of this lake is the irrigation of the Kosovo plain, but has a small hydro power plant, which is located in the same place. Water from Gazivode is taken by channels to Gračanica lake and is used to supply with water city of Priština. The water from the hydro system is also applied for the necessary cooling in TE Obilić.

Although there is no restaurants and hotels, a large number of people visit this lake. Throughout the year there is a large number of fishermen because the lake is extremely rich in fish.
